Construction During Covid
Building a Swimming Pool in Todays World
We know the enormity of the whole swimming pool construction/backyard makeover process can seem overwhelming and that is particularly true today. We ask you to bear this in mind and remember that we’re on the same team. Your construction coordinator and your field superintendent are your advocates and they’re there to help. Your coordinator will keep you informed of impending phases and inspections and your field superintendent will be making regular visits, checking progress, meeting building department inspectors and all the subcontracting crews. And both your coordinator and your field superintendent are always available by phone to answer questions.
Please know that we strive to make the process as painless as possible, but the reality is things don’t always go as planned. We’ve been at this for over 52 years and have literally seen it all. There may be some speed bumps along the way but we always make sure everything gets handled to your satisfaction. And remember, we never walk away; as long you own your Royal Pool, you can call with any questions and we’ll address your concerns.
And one last word on scheduling. While we’d love to promise a 12-week construction process, the reality is more like 5 to 6 months and sometimes more depending on the scope of work. Subcontractor scheduling delays, inspection scheduling delays, material procurement delays, and sudden shortages of product all seem to be the new normal. We are aware of your desire to have your project completed as quickly as possible and we are doing our best to make that happen.
We know from experience that once the transformation is complete and you’re enjoying your beautiful new Royal Pool, the memories of that muddy hole and the mess will fade and all you will remember is how much fun you and your family are having.
